About Line Dancing by Nikki

At Line Dancing by Nikki, we’re all about creating a fun, welcoming space where everyone can enjoy dancing — no matter their age, ability or experience level.

Based in Chelmsford, Essex, our beginner-friendly classes are designed to help people feel comfortable from the very first step. We know trying something new can feel daunting, especially if you think you “can’t dance”, but that’s exactly why our classes are relaxed, supportive and easy to follow.

Nikki’s approach is simple: keep it friendly, keep it fun and make sure everyone leaves smiling.

Line dancing is a fantastic way to stay active, boost confidence and meet new people in a social and encouraging environment. Many of our dancers arrive on their own and quickly become part of the group.

Whether you’re looking for a new hobby, gentle exercise or just a great night out during the week, we’d love for you to join us.

What can I say about nikki ? I started beginners line dancing with nikki about 8 weeks ago as I need something that was an exercise that wasn’t the ‘gym’ I did line dancing about 40 odd years ago and liked it then Nikki’s teaching is absolutely clear and easy to follow she makes you feel very confident and encouraging throughout the lesson She makes the class fun and enjoyable and can’t wait for the next class at least now I can line dance when on holiday thank you Nikki

I've been to a few different classes in my time but Nikki’s class is fantastic. She takes her time breaking down the dances, step by step. Communication is excellent- verbal prompts etc as well as dancing along with us during instructions. Nikki has a very relaxing way about her that makes everyone feel at ease, especially when you are on your own and want to join in. Try it, she’s brilliant xx

Great class really enjoy it the hour go so fast full of fun, Nikki breaks the dance down so easy to understand. Nikki puts a lot of thought into the class and great music. It is a very friendly class and everyone is made welcome.x

Nikki's classes are so good. She shows us the steps before we attempt to do so with music. But the thing i get mostly from the class is it's so much fun! Everyone has a smile on their face - plus I feel like I get a mental as well as a physical workout

Nikki's class is absolutely fantastic! I have a smile on my face the whole time. She explains everything so well and everybody is so really friendly. It's great exercise with lovely people. You'll soon find yourself dancing in the kitchen when you're waiting for the kettle to boil!
